Chris Brown Gives Back To Domestic Violence Center

Chris Brown hit up Jenesse’s Center ’Back To School Fall Festival’ in Los Angeles, earlier this week, to provide the kids with new school supplies, encourage them to stay focus while helping them get ready for another year of school.

According to the CEO of the center,  which is an organization that works on educating people on domestic violence intervention and prevention. Chris Brown and his mom Joyce have been a part of the organization for quite some time now and the two often go to the facility to educate themselves further on domestic violence.
“It is our focus on family violence and its impact on youth that compelled us to open our hearts and our doors to Chris Brown and his mother, Joyce Hawkins. Chris and his mom have spent many quiet hours at our facilities, no cameras, no special attention or entourages – they just came to learn. Jenesse is thankful to Chris for spending time with our youth and celebrating the end of summer and returning back to school.
In addition to the back to school festival, Brown also sponsored The Change Youth Conversations event during the summer. The event, which drew more than 200 teenagers, was aimed at topics around dating violence and healthy relationships.
Chris also had a few words to say about helping out at the center:
It’s in my heart to show my fans, my friends and family and the families at Jenesse who stood by me, that they were right to give me another chance. I’m working hard to make them proud.”

This is the type of things that we never hear people talk about. Chris Brown this is what I want to see your face on more often. Giving Back is important. Love it! OnPoint!
